Why this blog?

I'm a young woman in my late 20s and I myself am coming from a long way of trying to lose weight, maintaining it and keep healthy. At the age of 16, I weight around 80kg. For my 180cm that is still considered 'healthy', though my BMI was close to 25. I wanted to change and tried many, many, many diets. You name it and most likely I tried it. I came to the conclusion that there is no such thing as "losing weight fast" and being healthy at the same time.

 

Now when people see me and they see the amount that I sometimes can eat they are envious as they think I don't have to do anything to keep my weight. Wrong, also I struggle with the maintenance.

 

My husband and I are very health conscious. As we live in India (with the lovely curries and sweets) it isn't always easy to maintain our health. You have to adept to the country you're living in.

 

Like everybody else on this planet, we also have had our share already with unfortunate factors and it weighs on us, literally. A stressful job, a sleepless night, too little time... Everyone knows what it is and it has an effect on our health.

After doing research for personal purpose we came across many websites (even apps) regarding health; however, not one contained everything what we wanted to know. We don't only need information about which diet to follow or which exercises to do, we want a total vision.

That is why we started this blog so that both men and women, old and young, can get useful tips and tricks to continue with a positive mind.
